+++ Smart Components for tomorrow's industry: Here +++

Our project came to an end - A big thank-you to the European Commission and all our supporters for making it possible to bring the topic of smart components further!
Our community keeps on living, though: You can find us on LinkedIn in the group "Smart Components for tomorrow's industry". You are welcome to join us!

In the meantime: Smart devices with innovative capabilities, machines with built-in intelligence, computer assisted, advanced manufacturing …sound familiar to you? Then learn more here about our initiative.

Co-FACTOR was an action supported by the European Commission under its Research & Innovation Program Horizon2020 to bring together all those players who feel that they are part of a “smart components” community. Whatever role you have in the supply chain, whether you develop new technologies or look for smarter solutions for your enterprise, smart components are the “magnetic” core for all. With Co-FACTOR you could meet the developers of latest technologies for a smart production, learn how you can benefit from recent “Factories of the Future” projects and their output, meet experts in the field, discuss and shape future needs and roadmaps. See how you could get involved.

At the core of Co-FACTOR were six FoF (Factories of the Future) projects: I-RAMP³, ReBorn, SelSus, T-Rex, INTEFIX and Power-OM. Together they covered several aspects of smart components at different application levels
